The Choice Ladder Climbers Project was an employment and training labour market project funded by the Queensland Government through the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations ‘Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative’ and the Department of Housing via Community Renewal. The project was facilitated from September 2007 through to December 2008.

The aim of the employment and training project was to increase the self esteem, confidence, respect for self and others and over all life skills of the target group with emphasis on the employment being the desired outcome.

The project also developed a user friendly web service highlighting the training, including registered training organisations and companies that exist in Cairns and Townsville.

Choice Australia Management Ltd will manage and maintain the web service ongoing.
